[Airy's going to stop at the store and pick up sunglasses as close to Dave's original pair as she can. She's also going to ignore the masterbaiting comment because despite her worry it turns her cheeks bright red and she's trying NOT to think about it. After about 10 minutes she sends another text.]

She moves to sit next to Dave and either slide them on or hand them to him. She knows how sensitive he is about his eyes. She almost asks if he's okay but she already knows the answer to that and she already knows that Dave might not be completely honest about it. She then dips her fingers back into her magical shopping bag and pulls out a juice box with a giant apple on its label.]

[She places the rest of the bag down on the coffee table leaving it's mysteries for later.]
I feel bad for walking in without knocking. [Even if she is there A LOT.] You don't look okay Dave. [She doesn't know if pointing out the obvious is going to help at all so she continues.] Are you hungry? I can make something. [Mostly just breakfast.]

She carefully rests her cheek on the top of Dave's head, unable to get the broadcasted imagines out of her thoughts. It'd been awful, so awful she doesn't even know if she can bring it up.
Dave's always struck her as someone who's strong, probably stronger than her but no one should have to be strong after something like that.]

Her arm tightens around Dave and she shifts and rests move against the couch. She hasn't always been a cuddler but Airy is slowly turning into one. She keeps her head resting lightly on Dave's as the movie begins.]

Date: 2016-06-21 03:03 am (UTC)[ at one point the juice gets put down so he can wrap his arms around her and cling. dave is, somewhat secretly, a huge cuddler. rare to initiate it but once someone gives him the go that it's okay and he trusts them enough, it happens. especially if he's upset. he's hard to pull off, like a needy koala.
he just really needs/likes hugs. ]

And then there was more. This is devastating. I've missed his continued career. Those glasses were Ben Stiller's, you know. Authentic. They touched his face then my face. Do you know how long it took John to track them down for me? There was effort in there. They were gifted with love and friendship. They were too big for my face but I grew into them sort of and they stayed on my face despite having a jacked up super powered Jack punch me in the face with a glowing fist and a magic crowbar that literally breaks anything but not those, oh no...
[ nevermind. he's not feeling better. he's quietly and angrily rambling about those sunglasses to the point where he sounds like he's having a meltdown over them.
