New York || Day 1
Dec. 11th, 2015 09:23 pm[Running is the current plan but it isn't going well. She's constantly getting lost and she's reminded again and again that she's never been out of her small town alone. She misses her family and her friends but more than that she is really missing a warm bed. Her feet continue forward, the tall buildings towering on either side of her. It's impressive, as far as cities go, but its to close together.
To much can go wrong.
She must of made a wrong turn because Airy finds herself walking along a very shady part of town. Winter is setting in but she thinks of warmth and she manages to keep herself heated. She has a backpack around her shoulders and it looks like she's wearing a uniform: white button down, green pleated skirt, black jacket and a matching tie. It's most definitely giving some of the people here the wrong idea.]
Shit.
[Airy whispers softly under her breath, a puff of white leaving her warm lips. When she spots two men pointing towards her she runs. Her feet fly across the street and she's about 75% sure they weren't following her. Mist descends on the area and Airy one again curses under her breath. She's only getting more lost at this rate and running around New York after midnight isn't on her to do list.]

The next morning
Date: 2016-01-20 04:21 am (UTC)Okay, so how do you think it works?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-20 12:55 pm (UTC)I think that anyone can like what they want. [She smiles towards him before looking back at the crowd.]
You're just a reason I like it.
[She isn't completely sure what her point is. Though she's realized while talking that her powers haven't been noticeable since leaving the house and for a moment she's glad. She had been to focused on Nathan and the conversation to suddenly imagine anything at all.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-20 06:32 pm (UTC)The next morning
Date: 2016-01-20 06:46 pm (UTC)[She doesn't think it's all that complicated or strange. She hopes it isn't strange... she isn't sure why she cares if that's strange all of a sudden.
It's just be better if she was normal.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-21 04:23 am (UTC)The reason for which one?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-21 04:28 am (UTC)[She smiles and then silently curses him for that smile.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-21 10:07 am (UTC)But it's the same reason you like stags...and wombats and otters.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-21 12:47 pm (UTC)[In Airy's case this is foreshadowing because she realizes nothing. She looks up at Nathan for a moment and than at the path in front of her feet.]
Do you know where you're going by the way?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-21 05:35 pm (UTC)I know exactly where we're going. You wanted the best hot dogs in the city, right?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-21 06:03 pm (UTC)She feels a wide excited smile pull at her lips.]
I really do.
[Like you have no idea Nathan.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 03:22 am (UTC)Well, I intend to deliver. That's a tall order, by the way. There are a lot of hot dog stands in the City.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 03:24 am (UTC)[She blinks curiously.]
You mean there is like one on every street corner?
[She watches movies set in New York and that seems to be a thing.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 03:31 am (UTC)The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 03:38 am (UTC)[Seems like a fair question.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 04:01 am (UTC)The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 04:06 am (UTC)[New York is a big place.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 04:09 am (UTC)The next morning
Date: 2016-01-22 01:07 pm (UTC)Besides Hot Dogs what else is in this area then?
[There are area's where the crowds thin and Airy moves to walk more at Nathan's side without her shoulder banging against him. It's a nice walk and considering Airy is now very used to walking 18 miles a day.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-23 01:10 am (UTC)[He looks over to her.]
We can check out some of the costume shops and stuff if you want.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-23 01:22 am (UTC)Costume shop?
[She can't help but smile at that.]
You realize I'm female and would want to try a lot of random things on right?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-23 02:15 am (UTC)You realize I'm an actor and get paid to play dress-up all day, right?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-23 02:22 am (UTC)[Except that Airy can't act.]
What's the coolest thing you've ever gotten to wear?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-23 02:27 am (UTC)The next morning
Date: 2016-01-23 02:31 am (UTC)[Airy blushes slightly and then realizes that she's holding his hand when she tries to flail.]
I meant like under the stage lights. Mobsters where three piece suits right?
[Nice save.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-23 02:56 am (UTC)'course they do, toots, but it's all part of the gig, ya know?
[And then he goes back to being Nathan without missing a beat.] Seriously, though? You could be naked and they're still hot.
