New York || Day 1
Dec. 11th, 2015 09:23 pm[Running is the current plan but it isn't going well. She's constantly getting lost and she's reminded again and again that she's never been out of her small town alone. She misses her family and her friends but more than that she is really missing a warm bed. Her feet continue forward, the tall buildings towering on either side of her. It's impressive, as far as cities go, but its to close together.
To much can go wrong.
She must of made a wrong turn because Airy finds herself walking along a very shady part of town. Winter is setting in but she thinks of warmth and she manages to keep herself heated. She has a backpack around her shoulders and it looks like she's wearing a uniform: white button down, green pleated skirt, black jacket and a matching tie. It's most definitely giving some of the people here the wrong idea.]
Shit.
[Airy whispers softly under her breath, a puff of white leaving her warm lips. When she spots two men pointing towards her she runs. Her feet fly across the street and she's about 75% sure they weren't following her. Mist descends on the area and Airy one again curses under her breath. She's only getting more lost at this rate and running around New York after midnight isn't on her to do list.]

The next morning
Date: 2016-01-13 04:44 am (UTC)[Airy smiles, lacing her fingers together in her lap. She looks out over the city watching as the sidewalks slowly move pass.]
Where is parking in New York?
[She really knows nothing about cities.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-13 05:53 pm (UTC)A lot of different places. You really don't have any idea how huge this city is, do you?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-13 05:57 pm (UTC)I've never left home. I've seen it on maps.
[She just assumes everything is to squished together to have parking.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-14 01:26 am (UTC)On a map, huh? Well, we're heading to the green part.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-14 01:49 am (UTC)[Airy sounds amazed, like he just told her that gullible is written on the ceiling.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-14 04:39 pm (UTC)[He grins.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-14 05:06 pm (UTC)[She looks over at his grin and just stares.]
I didn't know cities had green areas or are we leaving the city?
[Airy hasn't really been looking out the window all that much.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 03:59 am (UTC)I'm talking about the section of the city colored green, but yeah. There are lots of green parts here, too. Central Park?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 04:07 am (UTC)[She doesn't remember it looking all that green.]
Also I've never seen Central Park. [Airy holds up a finger as if making a point.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 05:12 am (UTC)[He nods.]
You've never heard anything about Central Park? It's big enough for a small amusement park and a zoo, plus there's a huge music venue there, and a park.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 01:43 pm (UTC)All of that? [She looks a little impressed and then a little sheepish.]
Do you think we can go there?
[She has no idea if they have time today but it would be fun to go to a zoo and an amusement park.]
Though it's probably really expensive.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 02:06 pm (UTC)Yeah, we can. How about after lunch?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 02:10 pm (UTC)Airy looks over him squinting slightly. Part of her is super excited and really wants to go but then there is the rational part of her in her head telling her that she's broke.]
I don't really have a lot of money.
[She is a run-away.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 02:48 pm (UTC)That's really not a big deal.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 02:56 pm (UTC)[Airy eyes him for a moment before looking back towards the road. There is something hypnotic annoy watching the road fly away.]
Are we close?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 11:07 pm (UTC)[He pointed forward toward the toll bridge they were currently in traffic waiting for.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-15 11:18 pm (UTC)Does it always take this long?
I wonder where we are headed or at least what it's like...
Why does Nathan want to take me there?
Why the park?
I guess because I'll be leaving soon... but where do I go.
I don't really want to leave.
I like Nathan and Antonio... but I don't want to hurt them.
I'll hurt them if I say.
Her teeth bite into her lower lip before looking out her side window.]
Does it usually take this long?
[If the days over quickly she won't miss it... right? She looks towards the side of the road watching the other cars slowly crawl forward.]
I wonder where everyone is going...
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 02:07 am (UTC)Depends on the time of day. It's not far now.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 02:15 am (UTC)[Her voice is quiet like an afterthought to something else. Her emerald green eyes flick towards the city attempting to memorize every bit of the city that she can. She wishes her phone was charged.]
How long have you lived in the city? Did you grow up here?
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 02:56 am (UTC)Yeah, I grew up here, up in the Bronx, actually.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 03:05 am (UTC)You did? What was it like?
[Seh can't imagine growing up in a big city like this.]
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 03:36 am (UTC)[He shrugs.]
It's a nice community, though. There's a lot more green there, lawns. That kind of thing.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 03:50 am (UTC)That sounds nice. It's what I'm used to too.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 04:33 am (UTC)Then I went to college in LA, thought I'd be a big actor. Turns out it's a pretty cut throat business.
The next morning
Date: 2016-01-16 04:48 am (UTC)She kept her eyes outside the window watching whatever she could pull her gaze to.]
I'm glad you aren't cut throat like that.
[because she likes him like this.]
