New York || Day 1
Dec. 11th, 2015 09:23 pm[Running is the current plan but it isn't going well. She's constantly getting lost and she's reminded again and again that she's never been out of her small town alone. She misses her family and her friends but more than that she is really missing a warm bed. Her feet continue forward, the tall buildings towering on either side of her. It's impressive, as far as cities go, but its to close together.
To much can go wrong.
She must of made a wrong turn because Airy finds herself walking along a very shady part of town. Winter is setting in but she thinks of warmth and she manages to keep herself heated. She has a backpack around her shoulders and it looks like she's wearing a uniform: white button down, green pleated skirt, black jacket and a matching tie. It's most definitely giving some of the people here the wrong idea.]
Shit.
[Airy whispers softly under her breath, a puff of white leaving her warm lips. When she spots two men pointing towards her she runs. Her feet fly across the street and she's about 75% sure they weren't following her. Mist descends on the area and Airy one again curses under her breath. She's only getting more lost at this rate and running around New York after midnight isn't on her to do list.]

The next morning
Date: 2015-12-21 04:27 am (UTC)Sure.
[Why not now? It isn't as if anyone else is going to hear.]
Unless you don't want too.
[She won't make him.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-21 05:14 am (UTC)Nathan shrugs.]
What do you want to hear? Do...you know showtunes?
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-21 05:18 am (UTC)Wicked, dancing through life.
[She finishes her sausage and begins to tackle her eggs and milk.]
Or pick a song you really like.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-21 05:44 am (UTC)[He looks thoughtful as he starts collecting dishes.]
What about Mister Cellophane? I always felt bad for that guy.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-21 05:51 am (UTC)Okay.
[Without food to focus on, she's back to keeping her mind calm and her imagination inside her head.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-21 06:04 am (UTC)He takes a moment to shake himself out, it's early but now that he's eaten he feels better about the idea of singing.]
Okay, so, never tried this a Capella, so here we go.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-21 12:56 pm (UTC)She had seen plays that had been turned into movies but she's never actually seen someone act in real life before. School plays don't really count. Acting is an amazing skill and one that she would never posses. She wondered why Nathan would take the job as a vampire's double but before her thoughts could sink to far away she stopped them and focuses on Nathan himself.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 03:17 am (UTC)Well?
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 03:32 am (UTC)That was amazing!
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 04:18 am (UTC)I don't know about "amazing", but thanks.
[And then he says the rest having turned into the character that is Christopher Walken.]
You now, amazing would be something with a little more...drama, and maybe more cowbell.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 04:42 am (UTC)She crashes hard to the ground in a small tangle of limbs, her musical laughter still carrying over the room.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 04:53 am (UTC)Hey, are you okay?
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 04:56 am (UTC)Yeah. [She's smiling brightly.]
I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard.
[She stays on the floor for a moment before attempting to stand.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 07:56 am (UTC)Well, I'm glad I could help. I guess I'm good at that, too.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-22 12:51 pm (UTC)Her a moment she just looks up at Nathan but as seconds ticked by she felt a rising awkwardness.]
Ah, you're good at a lot of things.
[She's already notice that he's good at putting himself down.
The more she thought the more Airy realized that she had to figure out what she was going to do. She feels a little bad for leaving now, more so after Nathan went through so much trouble to make her feel at ease. At the very least she wants to say thank you to Antonio and maybe ask him about a place to go since he's far more well traveled than she is. There is however at least 8 hours of day light that she has to fill with something.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-23 08:31 am (UTC)[He lets her hand go, at least, because holding it had gotten a little weird. Her fingers were cute, though, small and thin.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-23 12:58 pm (UTC)It's more than me. I'm pretty average at everything.
[It isn't as if she's trying to put herself down, only Airy has never tried really hard at anything. She hasn't taken a skill and attempted to perfect it or even focused heavily on one thing. She does a little bit of everything and while she isn't particular horrible at anything she doesn't excel either.]
I know that you at least have 5 things you are good at.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 01:51 am (UTC)[He hadn't been a gifted actor or anything. He'd just really wanted it. He'd poured all of himself into it for a long time. That was the only reason he was any good at it.]
Now I'm curious.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 02:06 am (UTC)You'll think it's stupid.
[She looks up at Nathan and then sighs feeling defeated without him saying a word.]
Okay, I'll tell you one... drawing.
[Airy doesn't always stick to the things she tires.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 02:39 am (UTC)What do you like to draw?
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 03:28 am (UTC)I haven't drawn in a long time. So nothing. There are a lot of people who draw better then me.
So after that I focused on trying to be normal. I got really good at blending in.
[Which is why she wouldn't be surprised if everyone at home forgot she existed.]
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 03:38 am (UTC)[He smirks.]
Hey, blending in's a pretty good talent. Unless I'm acting, I'm terrible at it.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 03:53 am (UTC)Hey! I'm... eighteen.
[she glances towards the ground and then back up at Nathan.]
How old are you?
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 04:41 am (UTC)Twenty-five.
The next morning
Date: 2015-12-24 05:01 am (UTC)Oh... cool.
[Airy is at a loss of what to say next. They can keep talking about themselves but she'll probably run out of things to say. She isn't usually this bad at conversations. She remembers being fine last night and she had been talking to a vampire then.
It's really weird.
In this mists of the silence Airys thoughts begin to wander without permission. At first it's a few petals but then flowers are raining down from the ceiling above them like rain falling out of clouds.]
Not again.
